Looks like the PSP scene hijinks are continuing. According to the ‘We Are Back’ web site someone leaked the source code to the 2.5 launcher. What was WAB’s response? Release the 2.5b sources.

Then shortly after that they released decrypted ELF versions of the 1.0 and 1.5 update. ( http://www.psp-spot.com/ )

You can now work on a downgrader 1.51 & 1.52 from the decrypted elf
updater 1.50.

you can get many info and prx like PSAR.prx embeded on the elf the
version.txt for the updater embeded in the elf too many good info .

According to the WAB irc channel we should see V3 in two weeks. We’ll have to wait and see what happens…

WAB ( http://www.wab.com ) and PSP-Dev have released Wab Launcher 2.5b a couple hours ago. Looks like the full iso launcher is not too far behind. From the readme:

Wab launcher Version 2.5b (auto patcher)
use original boot.bin without any modification !!

More stable with other game now you can use 2 Methode :=)

put the common folder on root of your memory stick .
and copy all the PRX you got in it

and put your game on roots of your memory stick on PSP_GAME

can remove the umd check like on bubble

Note this is an alpha version.

It’s almost time to pick a PSP I think.

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted anything. With my nice long 4th of July vacation taking me away from computers and *gasp* the i’net, and with work being very crazed recently I’ve been too tired to post. Well, I should be able to get myself back on track as I’ve got a nice stack of games and stuff to look at. But, I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow to get started on that though.
