I’ve spent the past ten days battling some form of the flu - which as it turns out is not all bad - since my contract at Vicarious Visions was up the Friday before I got sick.  During the first half of the week I spent my waking hours playing Oblivion (that’s right I broke down and bought it).  Near the end of the week my shipment from Activision came in and I become an achievement whore of sorts - beginning Call of Duty 2 on the hardest difficultly just so I could get the points.

Anyway, now that I’m starting to feel better hopefully I’ll be able to fall into my old pre-game tester schedule…

It’s that time of year again - Happy St Patrick’s day! Treat yourself to a pint of Guinness and if you don’t drink then treat a friend.

I thought I’d drop in real quick before I go off and (finally) sit down and get some play time with Atari’s Battlezone PSP remake. I did indeed start work on Monday and it’s pretty cool so far! I don’t think I can really go into the actual work type stuff so, instead I’ll tell you about the “Welcome Aboard” kit I got. Here’s the run down:

• Activision Coffee mug.
• Activision hacky sack.
• Vicarious Visions pen
• Activision/VV bottle opener
• VV cooler bag.

Nice! I think I’m going to like it there. Anyway, I better try to get some Battlezone time in so I can actually write some sort of review this weekend.
