I've been trying so hard to be careful and not open it all the way till it locks in. But yeah I got the replacement plan when I bought it so even if I do crack it I'm OK. I can't. Have you read the stories about the small crack appearing on the left side of the hinge of some DS Lites? It happened to mine! :( I have to live with it, though, because Nintendo USA won't service an imported product.
