Yesterday I received my Dreamcast and much to my delight it works just fine. It came with a copy of “Virtua Fighter 3TB”, which I could have done without, it also came with two controllers, a couple of VMU’s (memory cards) and the microphone attachment. I quickly got my hands on a copy of the shmup “Ikaruga” and it is terrific. I’ve only had a few minutes to play so far (I’ll be sneaking in some more after posting this) so, I can’t really tell you too much other then the game is great. If you have the means to try it (with a Dreamcast or via an emulator) and like shmups I suggest you take this one for a spin. I’m going to get some more playing well I have a chance so…

Ikaruga rocks! Bloody hard, though. I am unable to make it past Chapter 4 without infinite lives. And I can’t beat the end boss in Chapter 2 before time runs out.
LOL. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to even get to the boss in chapter 4. Maybe next week… I have to agree though the game just flat out kicks ass!
