Wild Arms XF PSP Will Be Original Content

IGN is reporting that the upcoming Wild Arms XF for the PSP is indeed not a port.  It's nice to see that the plague of ports coming to the PSP may finally be coming to an end.  XF, which apparently stands for "Cross Fire", is being developed by Media Vision.  SCE has opened a teaser site for the game so check that out.

Well ports are not always bad. Look at Mario Kart DS, nobody complained about that port. ;)

Great blog by the way. I wish I can say the same about my own.

Thanks for the kind words. :D Anyway, your right ports are not always bad. However, the number that seem to be coming out for the PSP is a bit much.

…and no one complained about MKDS because it was so much fun. ;)

Indeed; ports can work for me. However, I am really looking forward to a fresh saga, and one belonging to the Wild Arms franchise.

Oh, and while I’m at it; nice blog!

Thanks! …It’s not that I’m against all ports. It’s just the number of them for the PSP is getting just a bit too big for my taste. We need fresh content. ;)
